For over thirty years, Ms Lucretia Burns has been an active member of the Trinidad and Tobago Track and Field fraternity availing herself for various assignments in the sphere of Coaching, Managing and Officiating.
With humble beginnings she was afforded the opportunity to represent her country on the regional stage as a young athlete. This experience has influenced her level of effectiveness in coaching young and upcoming athletes within the parameters of the Burnley's Athletic Club which was established since 1956.
The acquisition of academic knowledge and formal training has afforded her numerous certificates. To name a few, Ms Burns is a certified Level 1 IAAF Technical Official and has also attained the rank of a Level 2 IAAF Track and Field Coach.
Only an authentic love for track and field can influence the continuity, commitment and mentorship that Ms. Burns continues to convey on all levels to all categories of individuals. Ms. Burns has served for years as a Committee Member of the National Association of Athletics Administration (NAAA) and now currently serves as a Director.
