Bevon had been elected to the executive and is currently the President of the Track and Field Officials Association of Trinidad and Tobago (TFOATT).

An avid lover of the sport, she also holds a Level 1 IAAF-CECS certificate in Track and Field.

Ms. Lord holds the following tertiary level qualifications: Graduate Teacher's Diploma, BSc. Education and Ma. Psychology.
