ST FORT STRIKES BRONZETrinidad and Tobago sprinter in fast run in World U20 finalKwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 21.07.2016Khalifa St Fort struck bronze for Trinidad and Tobago at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland, yesterday. The 18-year-old sprinter produced the second fastest time of her career, 11.18 seconds to secure third spot in the final, behind American Candace Hill, the gold medallist in a Championship record 11.07, and Poland's Ewa Swoboda (11.12). "I felt that I had a great start," said St Fort, after the race, "and I felt that everything was great. I'm so blessed to be able to compete out here injury-free, and I had a wonderful time competing with these wonderful athletes. I just love it. I'm really happy.
