Walters, Romeo in top formWins too for Thomas, Telesford, JamesKwame Laurence :: 10.04.2016Ruebin Walters bolted to the line in a personal best 13.60 seconds to grab gold in the men's 110 metres hurdles, at the Sun Angel Classic in Arizona, USA, on Saturday. His Central Arizona College teammate, Hezekiel Romeo was also golden, taking the men's shot put title with a 17.80 metres throw—a new PR (personal record). University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) athlete, Asa Guevara won his section and was second fastest overall in the men's 200m in a personal best 21.14 seconds. College of the Sequoias student Theon Lewis was ninth in 21.59. Sequoias athlete, Ohdel James finished fifth overall in the men's 400m in a personal best 46.99 seconds, while Guevara clocked 48.53 for 20th spot. Central Arizona student, Portious Warren threw the iron ball 15.97m to finish sixth in the invitational women's shot put. And Sequoias sprinter Holland Cabara produced a 10.48 seconds run to finish seventh in his section and 15th overall in the invitational men's 100m dash.
