Cain bolts to World Championship bronzeKwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 30.10.2015Nyoshia Cain secured precious metal for Trinidad and Tobago at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Athletics World Championships, in Doha, Qatar, yesterday. The 20-year-old sprinter bolted to bronze in the women's 100 metres T44 final in a personal best 13.31 seconds. Marlou van Rhijn stopped the clock in a world record time of 12.80 to strike gold, the Dutch sprinter completing the women's T44 sprint double. France's Marie-Amelie Le Fur got home in 13.12 to pick up silver. |
