Jehue to ‘break loose’ in 2016Kwame Laurence :: Trinidad Express :: 12.10.2015"My vision for 2016 is to make sure I stay healthy; once I do, all hell break loose." Jehue Gordon has put the disappointment of 2015 behind him, and is determined to make a strong challenge for the men's 400 metres hurdles title at next year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Gordon struck gold at the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow, Russia. But his defence of the one-lap hurdles title ended in the opening round at the 2015 edition of the global meet, in Beijing, China, in August. Gordon's preparations for the Beijing Worlds had been severely hampered by a lower abdominal muscle injury. However, unwilling to give up his title without a fight, he made the decision to compete in China. |
